About the ‘Be on TV’ contest
Back in July a brainstorming session between Nancy Betchart, the dean of the Frost School for Continuing and Professional Studies, and Kylo-Patrick Hart, chair of PSU’s Communication and Media Studies department, took place to develop a creative campaign to promote the Frost School.
The result was the “Be on TV” student contest designed to raise awareness about the Frost School by tapping into the wealth of creative talents residing on the PSU campus–just see for yourself.
Students participating in the contest created their own 15 or 30 second television commercials, with a first prize of $200 and a second prize of $100 waiting to be claimed in both categories.
The winning commercials will also be used to promote the Frost School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Online voting has started and you can help choose the winner of the Frost School’s “Be on TV” commercial contest.
After online voting, the winners will be determined by a team of PSU judges who will consider factors such as creativity, technical mastery, and the overall effectiveness of the commercials.
So check out the commercials and cast your vote.
The winners will be announced at the “Be on TV” award ceremony in Hyde Hall room 120 Thursday, Dec. 13 at 6:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
